Middle School/ PreAlgebra
PreAlgebra (broadly covered in Grades 6 and 7) provides the foundational concepts of decimal, fraction and percent arithmetic, ratios/rates and proportions, solving one and two step equations and inequalities. The students solidify their understand of part whole relationships using percents and also learn the application of percents in calculating discounts, sales tax, markups etc. All the concepts are taught with real world applications by emphasizing the problem solving methodogies.

- Pythagorean theorem and its applications
- Identifying prisms and pyramids with their bases;
- Surface Areas and Volumes of prisms and pyramids, cylinders and cones
