Geometry
Geometry course starts off by introducing the basic building block of two dimensional shapes. Formal method of proofs are introduced and will be taught throughout the course. The students will be taught the congruence and similarity theorems in detail. Pythagorean theorem and special right triangles are taught leading upto trignometric ratios. The later part of the course focuses on circles and three dimensional solids.
The overarching goal of Geometry is for students learn the formal methods of reasoning and proof in the context of two dimensional figures.
